Can a patient opt out of SMS messages?
If you are attempting to send an SMS to a particular patient and it errors, this probably means the patient has opted out of SMS communications entirely.
They do this by replying "CANCEL" or "STOP" to any message they have received from you via Dentally. It is not possible for you to override this.
Patients can opt back in by replying "START" to any message they received from you via Dentally. They should see a confirmation message stating they've resubscribed.
