What to do if i get a 'No significant treatment on a claim' error

This error means the claim doesn’t include any valid NHS treatment that can be submitted.

This usually happens for one of the following reasons:

  • The treatment item used isn’t recognised as an NHS treatment in it's clinical data settings.

  • The treatment has been marked as Private instead of NHS on the treatment plan

There are a couple of ways to action these scenarios and resolve the error:

Check the treatment code used is recognised as NHS

The treatment item may not be set up correctly for NHS claiming.

  • Go to 'Settings' > 'Treatments & Plans'

  • Under 'Details' - scroll down to the 'NHS options'

  • Confirm the treatment has an NHS UDA band set (if applicable), and Treatment Category set.

  • Save any changes and resubmit the claim

Check the treatments payment plan is set to NHS
Only NHS treatments are included in NHS claims.

  • Open the treatment plan

  • Untick any completed items

  • Change the 'Payment plan' from Private to NHS

  • Re-complete the treatment

  • Resubmit the claim

If you’re still seeing this error, review all charted items to ensure at least one valid NHS treatment is present before submitting.
