To authorise the Xero integration with Dentally...

  • Go to 'Settings' in Dentally, select 'Integrations' and click 'Xero'.

  • Click the 'Authorise' button, this will redirect you to the Xero website, and log in to your account.

  • You will then have to select what Xero account you would like to connect to Dentally from a list of your accounts. You will then be redirected back to Dentally.

    • You can only connect one Xero account to Dentally so make sure make sure you select the correct account before clicking 'Authorise'.

  • If the integration has been successful you will see a green message notifying you of this.

To configure Xero...

  • Select the bank account that is used to receive the revenue your practice generates.

  • You can then select what Xero account your Dentally payment plans/fee schedules should go into.

Create a one off Xero invoice...

Using the 'Create...' button will create a Xero invoice for the given date. When you click the button it asks for confirmation, and allows you to create an invoice if it's been missed, or needs to be added later.

Please note! Dentally automatically creates invoices so this should only be used to backfill data on Xero.
