How to use practitioner groups
Practitioner groups allow you to create and display groups of practitioners while viewing the calendar. For example, it may be useful to group all of your specialists together so that you can see them on screen at the same time.
To manage your practitioner groups:
Go to 'Settings' > 'Users' and select the 'Practitioner Groups' tab.
From here, you can view your existing practitioner groups. If you are a multi-site, you can use the dropdown in the left corner to toggle by location.
To create a new practitioner group, select '+ New Group' in the top right corner.
Add a 'Name' - and a 'Location' if you are a multi-site.
Click in the 'Practitioners' box to select practitioners from the drop down menu
You can always remove a practitioner if added by accident using the 'X' next to their name.
When you have added all the required info, click 'Save'.
You can delete any existing practitioner group by clicking the bin ๐๏ธ icon on the right of the chosen group.
Editing a practitioner group
Once a practitioner group has already been created this can be edited by:
Navigating to 'Settings' > 'Users' > 'Practitioner Groups'
Use the 'Edit' icon to the right of the practitioner group
From here you can edit the providers in that group.
Click 'Save' to finalise any changes.
How to use practitioner groups on the calendar
To use practitioner groups on your calendar:
Click the eye ๐๏ธ icon in the top toolbar to see the 'Hide & show calendars' feature.
You will see your practitioner groups listed below the 'Hide all' button.
When you select a group, the calendar will instantly update to show only the practitioners in that group.
You can undo this at any time by deselecting the group from the menu.
