How do I use practitioner groups?
Practitioner groups allow you to create and display groups of practitioners while viewing the calendar. For example, it may be useful to group all of your specialists together so that you can see them on screen at the same time.
To manage your practitioner groups:
In Dentally's settings, go to 'Users' and select the 'Practitioner Groups' tab.
From here, you can view your existing practitioner groups. If you are a multi-site, you can use the dropdown in the left corner to toggle by location.
To create a new practitioner group, select '+ New Group' in the top right corner.
Complete the 'Name' field (and the 'Location' field, if you are a multi-site), and then click in the 'Practitioners' box to select practitioners from the dropdown.
When you have selected a practitioner, you can remove them by clicking the 'x' next to their name.
When you have added all the required info, click 'Save'.
You can delete any existing practitioner group by clicking the bin 🗑️ icon on the right of the chosen group.
To view use practitioner groups when viewing the calendar:
In the calendar, go to the eye 👁️ icon in the top toolbar.
You will see your practitioner groups listed below the 'Hide all' button.
When you select one, the calendar will update to show only the practitioners in that group.
You can undo this at any time by deselecting the group via the same steps.
💡 Top tip: If you need change a group, we recommend deleting it and starting again.
