How do I delete a clinical note?

Important: Deleting a clinical note is permanent and cannot be undone. Once deleted, the note cannot be recovered. If you are unsure whether a note should be deleted, consider adding an amendment instead.

  • Open the patient record and locate the note you want to delete in the clinical sidebar.

  • Click the three-dot menu icon next to the note.

  • Select 'Delete'.

  • Confirm deletion.

The note will be permanently removed from the patient record.

Things to consider

  • Only admin level 4 users can delete clinical notes. If you do not see the delete option, you do not have the required permissions.

  • Deletion cannot be undone. There is no way to recover a note once it has been deleted.
