Deleting a clinical note permanently removes it from the patient record. This action is restricted to admin level 4 users and cannot be undone.
How do I delete a clinical note?
Important: Deleting a clinical note is permanent and cannot be undone. Once deleted, the note cannot be recovered. If you are unsure whether a note should be deleted, consider adding an amendment instead.
Open the patient record and locate the note you want to delete in the clinical sidebar.
Click the three-dot menu icon at the top of the note.
Select 'Delete note'.
Click 'Delete note' again in the 'Delete this note?' window.
The note will be permanently removed from the patient record.
Things to consider
If you can't see 'Delete note' in the menu, you don't have permission level 4.
If a note is on the wrong appointment, move it instead of deleting it.
