How to make amendments to locked clinical notes

How to add an amendment to a clinical note

If you have already locked your clinical note before noticing an error or a missing piece of information from your transcript you can use the add amendments button to easily add details to your saved notes.

๐Ÿ“ Please note - Only Level 2 practitioners and above can add amendments to clinical notes.


Step 1 - Open the clinical note

  • Clinical notes are saved against each appointment - simply click 'View note' against the appointment in question.

Step 2 - Add amendment

  • Click on the 'Add amendment' button at the top of the clinical sidebar.

  • Add you missing information into the amendment box and select 'Add'

  • This will save your amendment to the top of the note with a new date, time and user stamp for clear visibility.

๐Ÿ’ก Top Tip - Missed something else? No need to worry as you can add as many amendments as needed to each note.
