How to add an amendment to a clinical note

If you have already completed your clinical note before noticing an error or a missing piece of information from your transcript you can use the add amendments button to easily add details to your saved notes.

📝 Please note - Only Level 2 practitioners and above can add amendments to clinical notes.

Step 1 - Open the clinical note

  • Clinical notes are saved against each appointment - simply click 'View note' against the appointment in question.

Step 2 - Add amendment

  • Click on the 'Add amendment' button at the top of the clinical sidebar.

  • Update the note as needed directly in the editor

  • Save once you are happy with the changes made.

  • All edits are saved in the audit history of the note with who and when the changes were made by.

💡 Top Tip - Missed something else? No need to worry as you can add as many amendments as needed to each note.
