How to claim these treatments
You have two options when claiming these treatments from Dentally:
Use the service list provided
These treatments and codes listed above are already included in the standard service list and can be selected directly when creating claims.Reconfigure your existing services
If you prefer to continue using your own service names, an administrator can reconfigure them with the correct NHS treatment category and Band.Go to 'Settings' > 'Treatments & Plans'
Find and Edit the relevant treatment
Select the correct 'NHS Treatment Category'
Confirm the 'Band' is accurate
Hit 'Save'
You can find details on editing the service code here.
Following this guidance ensures treatments are claimed correctly and prevents the need to over use the NHS 'Other Treatment' category.
When do I need to use these codes from?
These codes came into effect from 1st August 2025 and should be used on all claims started on or after this date.
To avoid claims responses or rejections, these treatments should not be submitted using an item with the ‘Other Treatment’ category after 30th November 2025.
