๐Ÿ“ Please Note - This feature is not yet available but will be when Dentally Vision v120 launches. Keep track of Dentally Vision releases here.

The Auto-Proceed with Acquisition option is designed to speed up your image capture workflow by automatically starting the acquisition as soon as youโ€™ve selected the procedure (and teeth, if required).

What is auto-proceed with acquisition?

When this setting is turned on, you wonโ€™t need to manually press a button to start capturing after selecting your procedure. The system will begin the acquisition automatically, saving you time and reducing clicks.

How it works

  • When 'Auto-Proceed' is ticked, acquisition begins as soon as:

    • A procedure is selected and

    • Any required teeth are selected

  • For procedures that donโ€™t require tooth selection (e.g., most bitewings), the acquisition will start immediately when the procedure is selected.

Example;

Letโ€™s say youโ€™re capturing 1 Bitewing:

  1. You tick the 'Auto-Proceed with Acquisition' checkbox.

  2. You select 4 Bitewings.

  3. Since tooth selection isnโ€™t needed, the acquisition starts right away โ€” no extra clicks.

๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง Important note for UK users - If youโ€™re required to enter a justification, make sure to do this before selecting the procedure. Alternatively, justification can still be added after the acquisition is complete.

Why this is useful...

  • Streamlines image capture

  • Reduces time between steps

  • Ideal for high-volume workflows or experienced users
