Why you’re receiving an unusual login email

As part of our enhanced security process, Dentally detects and flags potentially risky login attempts to protect your account. If we notice suspicious activity, you will receive an email which will look like the following:

What triggers an unusual login alert email

Unrecognised Activity

  • Logging in from a new device, browser, or location.

Inactive Account

  • You haven’t logged in for a while.

Unauthorised Access

  • Someone else may have your login credentials.

What to do after receiving an unusual login email

Confirm the Login

  • If this was you then you can click the button/link provided in the email to confirm it was an authorised login attempt.

Secure Your Account

Enhance your account security

We highly recommend enabling two-factor authentication. This adds an extra layer of protection and ensures your data remains safe, even if your password is compromised.
