Dentally Vision updates ๐ฉป
๐ New: Detection confidence slider
You can now filter your Dentally Vision AI findings by confidence level - Low, Medium, or High - using the new detection confidence slider. This helps you focus on the findings most relevant to your workflow. Your selection updates in real time and is remembered across exams.
๐ New: Auto-proceed with acquisition
You can now enable an auto-proceed option to speed up image capture. When enabled, acquisition will start automatically after selecting a procedure or tooth - no need to click an extra button.
๐ UK users please note: When using the auto-proceed option, be sure to either add your justification before selecting the desired procedure, or after the acquisition is complete.
๐ New: CBCT grading (UK only ๐ฌ๐ง)
In line with updated UK guidelines, CBCT images can now be graded as 'Acceptable' or 'Unacceptable', with an option to add justification. This aligns with the recommended two-point scale for dental radiography set out in the national guidance. Grading is currently available for users in the UK only.
๐ Improved: Simplified sequence selection
The sequence selection menu has been consolidated into a single dropdown that updates based on the procedure group you select. For some procedures, the sequence options now appear behind the settings (โ๏ธ) icon for a cleaner layout.
๐ Improved: Updated procedure names
To improve clarity and consistency, weโve refreshed several procedure names to better reflect whatโs being captured โ below are some examples, check the v120 release notes for the full list:
Full Mouth Series (this was Intraoral Full Mouth Images)
1 Bitewing, 2 Bitewings, 4 Bitewings etc. (clearer counts)
CBCT Volume (this was 3D Volume)
๐ Bug fixes:
The 'Show/Hide AI Findings' button was temporarily misaligned but is now correctly aligned with the rest of the toolbar.
The 'More Options' (โฏ) button in Modality View now appears right away, making it quicker to see what you need.
Previously, date formatting in Compare View would sometimes display oddly across multiple lines - it now stays neatly on one line.
You can now delete corrupted images caused by failed uploads.
We identified some instances where image stacks would shift to the top - this has been adjusted and they now behave as expected.
The AI menu in Peek View is no longer cut off - all options are now fully visible.
The 'Recapture' button is now correctly enabled after taking the first image.
Tooth parts were sometimes not available if AI findings were turned off. This has been fixed and they'll now remain available regardless.
If you have AI enabled, switching to big template mode no longer disables it.
We identified and fixed several small bugs in Modality View for a smoother experience.

Global updates ๐
๐ Improved: 'Takings' report shows multiple family members per payment
If a payment was taken for multiple family members (when using the new account screen), the 'Takings' report will show all relevant patients' names, not just the first one. This allows you to easily see both which patient paid (the payer) and which patients' were paid for (the patients).
๐ Improved: Stricter locking on clinical notes
We've added a setting for stricter locking on clinical notes. When a treatment is ticked as complete, the notes are only editable for 24 hours as before, but if that treatment is marked as incomplete, the notes will be locked if the completion date was more than 24 hours ago.
๐ Improved: Bulk complete treatment plans in full
If you complete treatment plans in bulk using the treatment reports (such as using the 'Unbooked Treatments' report), previously you could only do this one page at a time - now you can complete all treatment plans within the filters you have applied, across multiple pages.
๐ Improved: Clinical history filter default
Following feedback from you, we have changed the default filter in the 'History' tab of the chart - it now defaults to 'Include uncompleted treatments'. This reduces confusion when you search for incomplete treatment without realising there is a filter applied.
๐ Bug fixes:
Some users weren't appearing when adding them as a new practitioner - all users will now appear in the list.
When reassigning practitioners, in some cases the practitioner reverted back to the original when charging. This is resolved and the correct practitioner will be assigned upon charging.
Plaque and bleeding scores will now always use the new tooth status logic to calculate scores when being printed out in a patient's treatment history. This improves the consistency, and also resolves an issue where โcloningโ a perio exam may not have cleared the values for โpartially eruptedโ teeth correctly.
