My Practice Cloud's email notifications can be super handy for those busy days where you don't get a chance to log into MPC

Why should i set up MPC email notifications?

Email notifications from MPC give you a snapshot of data from the Action Today dashboard, these email reminders can be super handy when you haven't had a chance to log into MPC yet to take a look at yesterdays figures.


They bring the insights straight to you for you to monitor daily, allowing you to prioritise your time accordingly depending on the content of the email you receive each day.

πŸ“ Please note: These notification will need to be set up manually for each user across each practice. You can also send these notification to non-users as well should you need to loop your accountant or treatment coordinator in too πŸŽ‰


How to set up MPC email notifications?

  • Navigate to 'Practice Admin Manager' under the hamburger menu.

  • Select 'Email notifications'.

  • Select 'Configure' to the right of 'MPC Action Today Alerts'.

  • Choose 'Set up' next to the relevant practice.

  • Click 'Next'.

  • If you already have uses set up against other practices you will be prompted to first to include then in the notifications. Simply select them from the drop down list if needed and click 'Next'.

  • Adding existing users: When prompted select all the users from the drop down list that wish to receive the Action today alerts via email.

  • Click 'Next'.

  • Adding non-practice users: User the '+Add new user' button to add the email addresses of those who do not have access to MPC but who wish to still receive the email notifications.

  • Click 'Next'

  • You will be presented with a summary of all the users you have set up to receive these notifications.

  • Click 'Submit' to finalise this process.

The email notification will start to send the day after you set these up. You will need to set this up for each practice activated under your account.


How to edit MPC email notifications?

  • Navigate to 'Practice Admin Manager' under the hamburger menu.

  • Select 'Email notifications'.

  • Select 'Configure' to the right of 'MPC Action Today Alerts'.

  • Choose 'Edit' next to the relevant practice.

  • This will give you a full list of everyone currently set to receive the Action Today notifications.

  • You can add to the list using the buttons at the bottom of the screen for 'Add practice user' and 'Add non practice user'.

  • You can remove users from the notification by clicking 'Delete' next to their name in the list.
