Where to get a breakdown of each report

Every MPC report has its own 'Help' button in the top right of the screen. When clicking this button you will get the unique breakdown appear for the report you are viewing.

It will give you a detailed description about the report, including data sources, parameters and resource columns.

Alternatively, we do have some help guides located on the Dentally Help Centre in the MPC collection here.

How to export my MPC report

Every MPC Report has an 'Export Data' button in the top right of the screen. This allows you to export the entirety of the report onto a spreadsheet.

As some of the reports are quite large, exporting means you can view the data in a readable, filterable format, allowing you to digest the information easier and set yourself actionable tasks off the back of your outcomes.

You will need some kind of excel/numbers program installed on your machine to view the downloaded CSV file from MPC. For help using Excel take a look at Microsofts own Excel help centre.

How to schedule a report on MPC

Some reports have a 'Schedule Report' button in the top right of the report. This allows you to set up reports to be automatically emailed to you on a frequent basis.

  • Simply click 'Schedule report'.

  • Enter the Report Name and set the Password

    • This will be needed to download the report once its been emailed to you so make sure you take note of the password you set.

  • Set your frequency from the drop down menu.

  • Choose the hour and the minute it will send.

  • Set the email address you wish for the report to go to.

  • Make sure you have set up the parameters of the specific report you wish to run in the example above we would need to set the start and end date, the date range, practices to include, providers to include and the summary level. But each report may differ. Without these set the scheduled report will not give you accurate figures.

How to print my MPC report

Should you need a hard copy of the report in question you will find the 'Print' button located in the top right of each MPC report.

You can also use this button to export the report as a PDF by selecting 'Send to PDF' as the printer, if your machine supports this.
