Why would I need to move images between patients

The need to move images from one patient to another could arise becuase of one of the following:

  • Merging Patients: if you have two patient records for the same patients you would need to merge he records together, however this wouldn't bring over the patient images and the above process would need to be followed before merging the patients.

  • Bridge opened incorrect patient: If the bridge itself has opened the wrong patient and you haven't realised until after acquiring an image, you will need to move the image to the correct patient as soon as possible.
