How to apply a clinical note template to my treatment item?

  • To use a clinical note from the patient's chart screen, Click into the treatment item in question.

  • Make sure you are on the 'Notes' tab and select the 'Template Notes'button.

  • Click on the template you wish to insert from the list on the left hand side. You can even use the filters at the top to narrow down your list to make notes easier to find.

  • You can select multiple templates here if you need to.

  • Click 'Insert' once you have chosen your note templates.

  • These will be added straight to your patient's treatment item, ready for customisation.

Take a look at the below video example๐Ÿ‘‡of how to search, filter and use your already created clinical note templates.

๐Ÿ’กTop Tip: Don't see what you are after in your note templates list, create your own clinical note templates from scratch instead!

Filtering the clinical notes templates

Filtering can be done by All, Your Own [Users initials], or Shared. You can also click on the blue letters to jump to the templates beginning with that letter.

Removing note templates from my selection

You can add multiple notes at once and even choose to remove selected notes by clicking on the cross. Once you are happy with your selection you can click 'Insert' to bring them over to the patient or 'Cancel' to close the screen and disregard your changes.

Why should I use clinical note templates?

Using clinical note templates is a fantastic way to save yourself time from writing out everything from scratch during/after every appointment. You can instead save your most used notes and pre populate them into your notes field with the click of a button!
