How to record a base chart
Navigate to the patient's 'Chart' screen.
Click on the 'Base Chart' tab in the bottom right of the screen.
📝 Please note: The 'Base Chart' tab will put you into base chart mode! In base chart mode, whatever you chart on the teeth will NOT go onto a treatment plan and will instead be added to the patient's baseline chart.
Simply select the service code of the item you need to add from the treatment list, and chart as normal.
Dentally will automatically save any changes as you go.
💡Top tip: You can still use all the normal treatment search features including your own baseline hover chart menu! Read more on how to configure this here.
Once each item is charted, you will see its entry in the 'Base Chart' tab.
You can then click on the entry to add notes if needed.
And if something has been added to the base chart by mistake, simply click the 'Delete' 🗑️ icon to remove the entry.
