How do I use the old appointment finder?
In Dentally, go to your practice calendar by clicking the calendar icon in the left-hand toolbar.
Click the magnifying glass 🔍 icon in the top right corner of the calendar to open the appointment finder.
If you are still viewing the old appointment finder (please note, we recommend using the new appointment finder), you will see:
A list of empty gaps in chronological order
A filter to view only availability for a particular practitioner (which defaults to 'Any dentist')
A filter to select the duration of the required appointment
When you click on a suitable slot, it will open the calendar to that slot.
You can then proceed to book from there.
While the old appointment finder still allows you to see empty slots, we recommend using the new appointment finder - which has greater visibility and allows you to book from directly within the finder.
