How do I set an appointment as Unscheduled Care?
Unscheduled Care (formerly the Urgent UDA band), pays a fixed monetary amount from the NHS, by awarding the equivalent number of UDAs according to your notional UDA value.
Open your treatment plan which is for urgent work.
Click the arrow dropdown to the right of the treatment plan number (the blue tab above the treatment plan).
In the dropdown list that opens, click 'Set as Unscheduled Care'.
This means that when you submit a claim for this treatment, it will be recorded as Unscheduled Care.
You can unmark it as Unscheduled Care at any time by repeating the steps above and clicking 'Unset as Unscheduled Care'.
If you're unsure whether a plan has already been set as Unscheduled Care, open the menu - if 'Unset as Unscheduled Care' is displayed, you know it has already been set previously.
You can view all Unscheduled Care claims using the 'Band' filter in the 'NHS Claims' report.
