How do I restore missing Vistascan images from EXAMINE Pro?

๐Ÿ“ Please note: This must be done on the workstation that the x-rays were taken on.

  • First, navigate to C:\ProgramData\Duerr\images on your computer (search including hidden folders).

  • Import the missing png image file from that location. All images are duplicated into this folder when taken. You can usually find what you need in here going back years.

  • In EXAMINE Pro, click on the 'Acquire' icon.

  • When the pop-up states 'Device ready', click the cog โš™๏ธ icon.

  • Click on the image recovery folder.

  • Select the images you want to recover in the image recovery pop-up window.

  • The image will then appear in the pop-up. Click the 'Transfer images' dropdown in the top left corner.

  • Check that the name matches the patient, and that the date matches the time the x-rays were taken.

  • Highlight the required images, then click the 'Transfer images' button in the bottom right corner.

  • Close the original VistaEasy pop-up.

  • The images will now pull into EXAMINE Pro, and you can continue to save as normal.
