MPC Patient & Clinical Reports Guide

Welcome to the Patient & Clinical Reports guide! This section introduces the MPC reports designed to help you understand patient demographics, appointment patterns, treatment plans, and revenue by service.

With these reports, you can keep track of new patients, understand who’s missed appointments, and analyse the services that drive revenue. Make sure you use the green 'Help' button at the top of each report in MPC to dig into the specifics of each report.

Here’s an overview of each report to help you get started.

FTA or Cancelled Patients Without Appointment Booked

  • Overview: This report identifies patients who either failed to attend (FTA) or cancelled their appointments and currently have no future appointments booked. It helps ensure patients aren’t slipping through the cracks.

  • Useful For: Following up with patients who may need rescheduling, keeping appointment slots full, and reducing patient churn.

Future Appointment Types

  • Overview: This report provides a summary of all future appointments by type, giving insight into upcoming demand for specific services and appointment categories.

  • Useful For: Planning provider schedules, understanding future patient needs, and adjusting resources based on demand for specific appointment types.

New Patients Created Analysis

  • Overview: The New Patients Created Analysis report tracks new patients registered over a selected period, showing trends in new patient intake and demographic data.

  • Useful For: Monitoring growth in new patient numbers, assessing the effectiveness of patient acquisition efforts, and identifying patterns in new patient demographics.

Patient Analysis - Appointments

  • Overview: This report analyses patient appointment patterns, such as average visits per patient and time between appointments, helping you understand patient engagement levels.

  • Useful For: Gauging patient loyalty, identifying opportunities to encourage regular visits, and improving patient retention strategies.

Patient Demographics by Payor Type

  • Overview: This report breaks down patient demographics by payor type, such as private or insurance, broken down by providers and age range, allowing you to understand your patient base’s profile.

  • Useful For: Tailoring services to meet the needs of different patient groups, informing marketing strategies, and analysing the financial diversity of your patient population.

Revenue By Service Code

  • Overview: This report provides a breakdown of revenue generated by each service code, giving you a clear view of the services that contribute most to your practice’s income.

  • Useful For: Identifying high-revenue services, adjusting treatment offerings based on profitability, and maximising revenue potential through targeted service promotion.

Treatment Plans by Period

  • Overview: The Treatment Plans by Period report shows all treatment plans created within a chosen time period, offering insight into the types of care patients are receiving.

  • Useful For: Understanding demand for specific treatments, forecasting resource needs, and optimising treatment plan offerings to better meet patient needs.

Treatment Plans by Period Detail

  • Overview: This detailed report breaks down treatment plans created within a selected period by specific treatment type, provider, and patient demographics.

  • Useful For: Deep-diving into treatment trends, tracking provider-specific care patterns, and making data-driven decisions about future treatment offerings.
