How to deactivate/activate my NHS payment plan

πŸ“ Please note: Only Level 4 Admin users will be able to action the following.

  • Navigate to 'Settings' > 'Treatment and Plans' > 'Payment Plans'.

  • Click on the 'Edit' icon next the your NHS payment plan. Cant see the NHS plan?

  • Change the 'Active' drop down box to either 'Yes' or 'No'.

  • Click 'Save'.

🚨 Important: Please note that the NHS payment plan can only be turned on or off for 'All' locations.

When turning off a payment plan, any patients that where assigned that payment plan will remain on that plan until this is manually updated. You will not however be able to assign any new patients to this plan.

Getting an error when saving my NHS payment plan

If you are encountering an error like the one demonstrated in the gif you may need to update the 'Location' setting before saving.

The NHS payment plan can only be turned on/off for all practices in your group at once. This means you MUST have the Location set to 'All' to be able to make any changes.

NHS payment plan not showing on my report filters

Once a payment plan has been deactivated it will no longer show as part of the payment plan filter on your reports. The NHS Forecast and UDA's report will still show and be available for you to run as these are controlled by the NHS 'Practice Settings'.

Finding a deactivated payment plan in my plan settings

What to do if you need to turn a payment plan back on?

  • You will first need to filter your plan settings from 'Active' to 'All'.

  • Then simply edit the desired plan and change your 'Active' drop down accordingly.
