How do I amend treatment plan details in Canada?

Once you have created a treatment plan and added treatments, their default price and duration for the patient’s registered payment plan will be added to the treatment line.

To amend the details of a treatment plan (for Canadian users):

  • In Dentally, go to the 'Chart' tab in the patient record, and find (or create) the chosen treatment plan.

  • Click the dropdown arrow to the left of the date on the relevant treatment plan.

  • The window will expand and you will be able to see more details about the treatment plan.

  • To edit the price or duration, enter the amount in the 'Price' or 'Duration' fields.

  • You can also see and amend other fields including 'Practitioner' (compulsory), 'Referrer' and 'Fee schedule'.

  • You can add any notes or labs to the treatment plan as well. To add template notes, in the 'Notes' field, click the '+' button on the far right off the notes toolbar and choose from your templates.
