π New: Marketing identifiers
To comply with global marketing laws and meet Google/Yahoo requirements we will be adding Unsubscribe links to all marketing emails inside Dentally. If used, this will update the Marketing Consent field for the Patient. You can now define which templates are marketing templates via the new toggle in the Templates section of Settings. Read more on our help article here.
The unsubscribe link will be coming in early March.
π New: Practitioner utilisation forecast (open Betaπ)
This new forecast report provides you with a bird's eye view of your practitioner utilisation over the next 4 weeks.
Use it to quickly assess where the gaps are in your diaries, so you can take action to fill unutilised space before it's too late! Read more about this report here.

πImproved: Payment Terminal Messaging.
We have added clearer messaging to Dentally, that will appear when users are unable to send payments to payment terminals in the following scenarios:
When trying to backdate payments.
When the payment is assigned to a site other than the one they are currently logged in on.
πImproved: Loading times on recall screens.
We've improved the loading times of the recall workflow screens. To support practices with a large number of sites and workflows. π
We've also added 'location' and 'workflow status' filters to make it easier to find specific workflows!
πImproved: Dentally Chat.
Incoming chat messages will now be minimised and highlighted blue. π This addresses three issues raised by users:
Chat messages take focus, resulting in notes being typed into chat accidentally.
New messages interfering with the current work.
Concerns for privacy and security where chat messages can appear while patients are viewing screens.
πBug Fix: Users experienced an issue loading files as attachments. Improvements were made to the upload service to reduce the risk of files being rejected.
πBug Fix: Users were unable to view the sent SMS folder.

π New: Changes to support the NEW NHS Dental Recovery Plan
We've added support for the new patient payments under NHS England. If the NHS awards an uplift on a claim, this will be updated in the Awarded UDAs value against that claim and tracked as part of totals going forwards all without the claim entering the "Queried" status. πͺ Read more about this here.
πImproved: NHS CCN63 DCP Practitioner Settings changes
Ahead of the NHS changes coming into effect on 1st April 2024, which allow DCP users to submit NHS claims, we have made changes to the Practitioner Settings screen in Dentally which simplifies the entry of newly assigned Personal Numbers and PINs for DCPs in preparation for submitting claims. π¦· Read more about these changes here.
πBug Fix: Fixed small Dojo performance issues, where the page wasn't loading correctly in Dentally have now been resolved.

We now support practices with more than one CDBS plan in sending Medicare claims!
πImproved: Claim cancellations β
We have improved the usability on the claim cancellation process, by allowing users to more easily cancel single claims and delete associated payments.

Apple Pay is now available for all appointment deposits and payment links.
These updates give your patients a more efficient payment process, enabling them to complete transactions swiftly. For you this means, an increase in appointments booked online and a reduction in patient debt! Read more about Apple Pay here!

We've been making behind-the-scenes tweaks to improve the page load time and performance of the patient app. Giving patients a better experience when using the Portal.
πBug Fix: Resolved an issue when patients were navigating back from the checkout page to appointments.
