UK
π New: Dentally Vision is now ready for Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. Treatment items have been mapped for each region. Read more about how Dentally Vision works here.
πImproved: NHS England & Wales enhancement for patients who fail to return
If you abandon a course of treatment for a patient, you are now able to leave the incomplete treatment items on the treatment plan and start the claiming process under NHS England & Wales. If there are any incomplete items, you'll be required to specify which payment band you wish to claim for, allowing you to receive payment for work started but not delivered to the patient, if appropriate. This change will be rolled out to all practices over the course of the month, so you may not see it immediately.
Dentally Portal
π New: Practitioner availability guide
The new Availability Guide provides you with a per-appointment, per-practitioner overview of availability over the next 7 weeks, as well as the next available date and time slot. The guide gives you an easy view on availability for your selected diary settings, and helps you ensure that there are always available times for patients to book through Dentally Portal.
πImproved: Smoother payment flow
We've simplified the way patients pay appointment deposits and balances. The new flow takes less time and increases the conversion rate.
πImproved: Patients can update their medical history at any time
Patients can now update a medical history in Portal at any time, even if one isn't due.
πImproved: Make NI number optional on NHS PR FP17 form
The NI number was previously a mandatory field - we've made this optional to match the paper form.
πImproved: One-question-at-a-time medical history
We ran an experiment on different medical history layouts
Version one had every question in one page
Version two hid the questions already answered
Version three asked one question at a time
Version three performed 2% better than the others in completion rate. We suspect this is due to reduced errors and better question comprehension. Read more here.
πBug fixes and security upgrades
We've updated our framework to the latest version to fix vulnerabilities.
