πŸ†• New: Dentally Vision is now live!

🌟Improved: Practitioner scheduling made easier

We are making big improvements to how a practice can manage the practitioners availability in the calendar. The first enhancement is to remove the need to create a stencil before creating a practitioner schedule, making it quicker and easier to plan availability. Further updates coming soon. 🌟Improved: Acquisition Source included in the API

For those utilising the Dentally API for reporting, you can now report on Acquisition Source which has now been added. See API documentation for details.

🌟Improved: Appointment calendar invitation enhancement

We've optimised the code behind the calendar invitations that are sent out with appointment driven emails to improve accuracy. Inaccuracy can be caused by specific device settings and so we've created a help centre article that explains how a patient can optimise their device for all calendar entries. Find out more here.

πŸ›Bug Fix: Xero integration setup experience

We've improved the experience of setting up the Xero integration for the first time in line with new requirements from Xero, resolving an issue that could cause Xero to reject new registrations.

πŸ›Bug Fix: Refunds issued against invoices now work correctly with Xero

Previously, issues could occur when invoices were passed to Xero containing refunds. These are now converted into Credit Notes before communication.

🌟Improved: Clearer read-only Custom Fields in charting

When previewing Custom Fields in a Treatment Plan, we've made it clearer when fields are read-only. This is a visual change so everything still works in the same way.

πŸ›Bug Fix: Fix Reported UOA figure on under 18 claims

A change was made to the calculation of how we displayed the UOA figure on some under 18 Orthodontic claims. The correct UOA figure was claimed, but the wrong figure could be displayed

πŸ›Bug Fix: Pressing β€˜cancel’ when editing an ACORN exam works as expected.

We've fixed a bug which could cause changes to the ACORN exam not to be reset as expected.

πŸ›Bug Fix: Sending recalls to patients opted out of marketing

If a patient opted out of marketing after being included in a recall workflow, they continued to receive recalls communication. We squashed that bug. Once opted out of marketing the patient will no longer receive recall comms. Find out more about setting up automated recalls here.

🌟Improved: DVA Payment Plan updates

DVA, DVASP and DVAPROS payment plan fees have now been updated to the latest prices for all AU practices

πŸ›Bug Fix: Auto completing appointments

We fixed a bug which was causing some appointments to auto complete during the day of the appointment. Now auto completion and DNA's will only be applied to previous days appointments if they had not already been completed manually.


Dentally Portal

πŸ†• New: Performance charts

We've added performance charts to our Online Booking and Online Signing feature to help you diagnose problems and improve your booking and signing rates. Read all about our performance reporting tool here.

🌟Improved: National Insurance number entry (UK)

We've improved the national insurance number validation to make patient input more consistent, and clarified where this can be found.

🌟Improved: Control patient SMS and email notifications (Multi-site practice)

We've made it easier for multi-site practices to control and rollout patient notifications by introducing controls in the "All sites" view.

🌟Improved: Patient registration process

To protect their privacy, patients need a phone number and email on their record to validate their identity during registration. We clarified some copy to ask the patient to contact the practice in the scenario that their contact details are incomplete.

🌟Improved: Easier access to help articles

We've added a link to Portal help articles and chat to the main navigation. Remember you can always bookmark our Dentally Portal collection here.

🌟Improved: Stripe account management

We want to simplify the way you manage your Stripe accounts. As a step towards unifying Stripe settings between Portal and the PMS, we've added the ability to compare the account numbers that are connected to each.
